Northdale Day Services, Let's Go Out @ Northdale, ABLE Day Service, and The Flat @ ABLE services are all designed to support individuals and small groups of adults with learning disabilities in a range of work based & leisure activities.

What your client can expect

Within each group / activity, your client will be supported by Northdale staff for the duration of their work / activity. For some of our members Northdale provides an opportunity to develop the work based and social skills that will help them make the very best of their lives in the wider community, while for others Northdale provides a stable supportive environment in which to take part in meaningful work / activities.

Holistic support

Professionals tell us that they value being able to meet their clients and family & carers in our informal settings for meetings & reviews. Northdale takes a proactive interest in the wider wellbeing of its members and family & carers by regularly signposting people to additional support services.   

So much more than day services

In addition to developing a wide range of work based and social skills, clients will have many opportunities to socialise with friends and take part in social & leisure activities. Above all, clients will feel they are making an active and valued contribution to their community.

Funding

Northdale is on the North Yorkshire Council approved provider list, with eligible clients being able to access the service via a personal independence payment. If a client has direct payment or is self-funding, Northdale can invoice the client directly for services on a monthly basis.
