Come and buy some plants & gifts that are all grown & made by our members. Open all year round. All proceeds go directly to the charity.
Garden Nursery
Our garden nursery stocks an extensive range of compost, bedding plants, herbaceous perennials, shrubs, herbs and vegetable plants during the growing season, and sells hanging baskets in the Spring and wreaths in the run up to Christmas.
Our plants are purchased as young plug plants from local specialist growers before being potted up in 100% peat-free compost and grown on by our members. The nursery group carefully breaks every job down into a series of tasks that can be allocated to individual members. In this way the nursery group gets everyone involved in the production of our plants.
Gift Shop
Our gift shop stocks a wonderful collection of gifts to suit all occasions and seasons. We also sell gift cards. We are always adding new gifts to the collection so pop in as often as you can.
All of the gifts are produced by members of our day service groups including The Forge, The Studio and ABLE.
The Garden Nursery & Gift Shop are based at Northdale, Northallerton and are open
For the months of January, February, March and July, August, September, October & November - we are open 5 days a week, 5 hours a day - 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
For the months of April, May & June and December (before Christmas) - we are open 7 days a week, 6 hours a day - 10am to 4pm every day.
Note we are closed on Easter Sunday, August Bank Holiday Monday and in-between Christmas & New Year.
