Come and buy some plants & gifts that are all grown & made by our members. Open all year round. All proceeds go directly to the charity.
Garden Nursery
Our garden nursery stocks an extensive range of compost, bedding plants, herbaceous perennials, herbs and shrubs during the growing season and sells wreaths in the run up to Christmas.
Our plants are purchased as young plug plants from local specialist growers before being potted up in 100% peat-free compost and grown on by our members. The nursery group carefully breaks every job down into a series of tasks that can be allocated to individual members. In this way the nursery group gets everyone involved in the production of our plants.
Gift Shop
Our gift shop stocks a wonderful collection of gifts to suit all occasions and seasons. We are always adding new gifts to the collection so pop in as often as you can.
All of the gifts are produced by members of our day service groups including The Forge, The Studio and ABLE.
The Garden Nursery & Gift Shop are based at Northdale, Northallerton and are open
9am to 4pm Monday to Friday (five days a week) - all year round (excluding Christmas holidays)
10am to 4pm Saturday & Sunday (two days a week) - April to June and December (four months a year)
